Try intercrosse
The easiest way is to walk into an existing club: browse the club directory. Most offer free trial sessions, and no personal equipment is needed to start.
Equipment
- Plastic sticks: around €15–25 each; a set of 12 is enough to get going.
- Intercrosse balls: soft and hollow, specific to the discipline.
- Goals: handball or street-hockey goals work fine.
- Venue: any handball-sized gymnasium; outdoor play is also possible.
Create a club in 5 steps
- 1. Gather a core group — six to ten motivated people are enough to launch.
- 2. Create a non-profit association — in France, a free “loi 1901” declaration.
- 3. Secure gym time — talk to your municipality’s sports department.
- 4. Affiliate — UFOLEP lists intercrosse among its activities and provides licences and insurance; the Association France Intercrosse can guide you.
- 5. Get known — school sessions, community fairs… and free listing in our directory.
